New Year, New Start, New Look

The Stand People are delighted to unveil our brand new identity and website!

As part of our commitment to improving and evolving our brand, we decided to appoint one of Wales’ leading design agencies, limegreentangerine, to develop a exciting, new and dynamic identity for us.

Looking back at the work we’ve completed over the last 12 months and our growing client list we realised that we required an updated image that reflected our projects and ambitions for the future direction of the business.

Andy Rees, Creative Director at limegreentangerine, advised that our new identity should focus in on what makes our business special and most valuable to clients; primarily our exceptional service and a deep level of expertise in the design & build of bespoke trade show stands. The design team set about developing an identity that reinforced The Stand People as a premier provider of stand solutions throughout the UK & Europe.

The first element to be redesigned was the logo. The original colour green, shape and tone were all changed in favour of a final logo mark that is sharp, modern and dynamic; ultimately reflecting our business offering and the clients we not only work with but also aspire to be working for.

The transformation however didn’t just stop at the new logo. We are embarking on a whole new approach to our online presence. Our new site will be an excellent platform to display previous projects and our blog will give our team the opportunity to discuss current issues in the exhibition industry and write about design & build projects as they are happening; giving our clients a unique insight to how we create their stands.

The first major change we made was to focus on the services that are most beneficial to our clients – portable display stands and bespoke exhibition stands. We felt the old site was too generalised and whilst we haven’t stopped offering other exhibition services such as printing, graphics & signage, our outgoing website wasn’t conveying our specialist expertise. The new portfolio site focuses on our work in bespoke trade show stands and in the coming months we will be launching a dedicated online shop for customers to purchase the more popular portable display stands, accessories and event materials - including large format print.

Andy Rees said, “From the outset, The Stand People brand seemed to have so much more to offer. The quality of their exhibition work and impressive client list simply didn’t align with their own image. We addressed this by introducing a more dynamic mark and a sleeker visual identity. Having studied the website we realised that the company offering was too diverse causing confusing and disparity between the products and services. The new website solves this by separating the core activities – a brochure site for the exhibition stand business – and an eccommerce solution for the displays side of the business. ”

As we enter our fourth year of business, with a new look and our first ever blog post I want to finish by offering a very warm welcome to our new clients, and a big thank you to all our existing clients for their continued loyalty.

We hope you enjoy browsing our new website. Please drop us a line to let us know what you think!
